A MonoRest authentication system is an easy way to implement authentication in the back end of your web application. With a MonoRest plug in, your back end web application can use a standard HTML password session with JavaScript authentication. The benefits of using a MonoRest system are: adds authentication convenience; use of standard HTML tags for ease of development and integration; support for most browsers and server-side technologies; use of standard cookies; support for secure sockets layer (SSL) technology; multiple user access capability; ability to create, maintain, configure and remove your own private custom views; and access to any external database or file system. In this article you will find out how to integrate MonoRest with your back-end web application. To integrate MonoRest with your back-end application, first create a custom HTML page with the MonoRest theme using the built in WordPress plug in. Then, access your custom HTML page through your FTP connection or your URL scheme. Under the Plugins menu, find "Authentication Codes" and click on it. You will then be given a list of all available authentication codes which will be used by your front-end web application. Once you have selected the one you want to use, enter it into the text box and hit the Enter key. Depending on the security level you have set up for your account, a transaction could possibly require a client authentication code. This is typically handled by the PayPal system so you can just create an HTML page containing the required HTML code for the client authentication code. If you want to use a MonoRest plug in for the main account balance page, you can use the same process for setting up the login form for the debits and credits. In the Plugins menu, search for "Kendrics", then click on it. Under the section named "JavaScript", select the browser type you are working on, and select "external". Finally, save the plugin and then access your custom account balance page. If you are interested in using the MonoRest plug in for integrating the PayPal shopping cart with your website, you will need to go to the plug-in settings and then click on "cart". Under the section named "Behavior", select the option for "Allow third party plugins". Then, make use of the drop down menu to browse through all available plugins to see which one(s) will make use of the PayPal account balance as the source for debits and credits. The next step will be to open the JavaScript file for the Shopping cart you want to use. In Windows Explorer, right click on the Shopping Cart icon and select "Open With". A window will open and you will be able to select the JavaScript file from the drop down menu. If you already have the JavaScript file, you can just click on it to add it to the current document. Again, use the numeric keypad to enter the debits and credits you require. When you are finished, you can close the Shopping cart tab or the JavaScript file. Now, you can go ahead and use the Mono Rest plug-in to integrate the PayPal discount card discount with the rest of your sales forms. You will find that the discount cards will automatically deduct from your current debits without any hassle. To avoid manual calculations, you can also use the Debits and Credits Checker to check your account balance. It works as a feature in your shopping cart, which automatically deducts debits and credits when your account balance changes. This is convenient and effective especially when your sales volume goes up. You can also set it as a priority in the plug-in menu to update your account balance automatically. |
